Bow Enduring Symbol
Traditionally seen as a symbol of love and marriage, the bow motif first appeared in jewellery in the 17th century French royal court of Louis XIV
Bows were highly significant in past eras when love emotions were not easily expressed
This truly delightful Victorian example, is gorgeously designed in a realistic version of knotted bow – with a tridimentional effect, topping with regal charm the large elongated natural Aquamarine suspended as finial which complement the centre piece with feminity and grace
Totally hand crafted of solid 18 KT gold with silver topping over gold for Diamond setting – tested
Bow is surmounted by tiny rose cut Diamonds with twinkling effect running through, another little . 25 Ct Diamond is set onto a dedicated bezel, and more tiny rose cut Diamond on the leaf work capping the main stone
Aquamarine as been tested for Natural, gorgeous briolette cut – lovely sky blue colour – measures 21.60 mm. x 10.52 mm with an estimate 10.30 Ct
Centre piece measures 47 mm. X 22 mm.
Chain is a latter replacement not an antique – traditional link of solid 18 KT gold – it is 47 cm total length
