Comprising a selection of misshaped, natural – not nucleated – Basra origin Pearls -beautiful lustre, varying in shape as made by nature process
Beautifully matched in a selection of sizes graduating from 7 to 3.5 mm.
They are completed with the original antique spring clasp made of 18 KT gold, tested
Total length is 48 cm. with 16.2 grams

Basra Pearls have been highly prized for Millennia—its uses date back to almost 300 BC. In fact, the Basra pearl’s purity and colour was compared to the moon. Astrologically, it was also believed that they had a strong effect on the mind. Owing to its rarity, even spotting a Basra pearl was considered a good fortune
