This incredible Victorian period antique lorgnette pendant is amazingly crafted, 1890 ca.
Solid 14 KT gold tested in all parts, hallmarks present on several places with eagle heads on the eye glasses, Possibly French origin
the gold lorgnette glasses display into a folder of intricate snake work, rich and effective to impress, fine carving details on both sides alternate polished work, truly amazing artwork
A large 14 Kt gold bail (Tested) allows it to wear as a pendant
They are 8.5 x 2.0 cm. closed (h. x w.) – 8.5 x 10,6 cm.(h. x w.) with 23.9 grams gross weigh
Very good condition considering their age and use
