This beautiful and rare locket is Victorian period, 1870 /80 ca. Russian origin – 56 Solotnik yellow gold (14 kt)
Good sized, entirely hand crafted of solid 14 KT gold, it has long worked as a keeper of romance or past memories, still keeping a dried qua-trefoil as good luck wisher treasured inside
It is adorned with a superb daisy design composed by 10 natural salt water split pearls 3.8/4 mm. Making the petals of the flower and rare Natural NO HEAT Ceylon Sapphire of 2.60 CT (8.3 x 7 mm. ) stunning Blue Cornflower colour, intense and vivid dreaming Blue richly saturated and quite magnificent, comes fully certified with a London gem report
Locket is 42 x 31 mm. (h. x w.) centre flower is 18 x 16 mm. – internal glass window in perfect condition as the entire piece, comes with its original Victorian box making it more special and meaningful for a gift
