Signed Ascione from the antique Torre Del Greco Factory active since 1855, this stunning representation of a smiling beauty is exquisite in all senses, artful hand deep carved in high relief, to give a realistic version of a young girl face, with flowers in her blowing hair and perfection in all details
Even the rope frame is carved from coral enclosing the beautiful face which seems captured into the gold bezel
Mounted as solitaire in a solid 14 KT gold simple mount
It is 25 mm. in diameter with 13.2 grams gross weight
The cameo is 1910 circa signed on the back side, mounting is 1940 ca.
