Sweet novelty brooch from the Georgian period, bearing French hallmarks 1796 ca – hand crafted of solid 18 KT gold and silver portions
Featuring four Swallows laying on tracks, beautifully featured with natural Pearls on sides, the Swallows arranged in group of three and one standing up-front, highlighted by Rose cut Diamonds, Ruby eyes, dark stone inserts making the wings, possibly Garnets
Diamonds approx .75 CT
It measures 26 x 45 mm with 10.2 grams

Gems: 12 natural not nucleated salt water pearls of 3 mm. in diameter (average) – 14 rose cut diamonds totalling approx .75 Ct (by spread – 4 round cabochon cut rubies – 3 cut to fit the design natural garnet cabochons of 8 x 2.6 mm.
