These sweet, authentic, Georgian period 1790 ca Diamond drop earrings have been hand made of solid 16 Kt rose gold – tested
Classy tear drop shape displaying the great workmanship of the era with a front side panel where the Diamonds are set in a charming buttercup background and dangling finials set with tiny Diamonds
There are 28 Rose cut Diamonds varying in sizes to fit the design for .75 Ct total measured by the spread – larger set in the middle framed by smaller Diamonds and more on top and bottom side
Large hooks with safer for pierced ears, all original from the era
They are approx 40 x 13 mm. (h. x w.) with 6.3 grams gross weight
Good condition, some back oxidation to the gold
Lovely find, so pretty when worn
