This beautiful antique ring is Edwardian period, substantially hand crafted of solid 18 Kt gold, stamped internally and punched with outside worn hallmarks hardly readable, possibly Austro Hungarian origin
Appealing rare trilogy design to suit either sex, elegant low profile, richly engraved throughout in the taste of the time
The ring faces up with with a fascinating trio of gemstones nestled into the crown, centering a mesmerizing totally natural ,untreated/ unheated Sapphire, cabochon cut of pleasing and unusual lavender colour, very clear and transparent rare quality for a cabochon cut , approx 4.80 Ct. (10.5 x 9.72) makes the focal point of the ring
Two sides Diamonds set into silver portions are old European cut Diamonds – approx .60 Ct. H/I VVS/SI
Crown of the ring is is 13 x 20 mm. (h. x w.) with 10.3 grams
Fine wearable condition keeping with age, note sign of an old re-sizing, outside hallmark worn
