Art Deco Beautiful Find
This charming original Art Deco necklace is 1920 ca
It comprises a beautiful single strand of graduated salt water Pearls going from 8.8 to 5 mm. – good roundness, nice skin, white creamy with goodish reflections, nice orient, lovely sheen
Complemented by a Platinum made clasp of 9.5 x mm , gorgeously designed, set with a centre natural Sapphire of intense Navy Blue – not heated – basaltic origin; approx 2.90 Ct with old mine cut Diamonds complement totalling .50 Ct, perfect working order
This strand measures 46 cm. in length with 26.6 grams gross weight
It has been newly re-strung with individual knotted silk technique
Elegant, classy, statement of the old jewellery, not easy to come across these days
