This particular brooch is so distinctive, superbly carved from one piece of Green Chalcedony featuring a splendiferous Humming bird enriched with carved Black Onyx details over the head and on the feathers making great colour contrast in between further highlighted with Diamonds – all mounted in 18 KT yellow gold marked and signed by the maker
The bird can be worn as pendant as well it hosts special hooks on the back side allowing the passage of a chain as well
This is a fantastic collectable dating 1960 – it weighs 21.3 grams measures 47 mm. x 27 mm. (h. x w.) – excellent condition all throughout
