This outstanding Victorian ring is 1890 ca
Skillfully hand crafted of solid 18 Kt gold with little silver portions for the Diamonds claws
The ring is of simply trilogy facing up with a trio of Diamond and Emerald and pretty carving details running through the whole backside
The focal point of the ring is a fabulous antique Colombian Emerald cabochon cut for 3.20 Ct striking intense verdant color with strong bluish much (color much nicer than pictured) little natural Emerald jardine showing on the surface being
It is estimated to be approx 3.20 Ct estimate on mounting and held onto strong gold claws
Complementary Diamonds are a couple of old mine cut Diamonds displaying a great amount of sparkle for the special chunky hand cut, approx. 1.45 ct for both assessed I/J – one of the diamond is a bit more warm in colour – VVS/VS clarity
They display wonderful bright white natural sparkle highlighting beautifully the rich green of the Emerald
Crown measures 11 mm. x 23 mm.
