English origin, 1880 ca, it has it all! Charming oval design with two large side Diamonds to the magnificent colourful Opal with a continuous frame of sparkle.
The centre Opal is such a star, approx 1.70 Ct measuring 10.80 mm. x 7.04 mm.
Vivid Blues and Greens dominate the colour play of the Opal, hints of Red Orange are scattered in between changing in shape and colour as you move the magic Opal through the light.

Vivid Blues and Greens dominate the colour play of the Opal, hints of Red Orange are scattered in between changing in shape and colour as you move the magic Opal through the light.The rich Diamond surrounding makes it even more precious and unique as the mesmerizing Opal is literally surrounded by old mine cut Diamonds.
Sides are set with two old mine Cushion cut Diamonds of 1.0 Ct – rated as H/I – VS/I these are for sides alone with further 12 more Diamonds completing the halo adding .80 Carat more H/I VS/I- all Diamonds are richly sparkle for the very special chunky cut every Diamond has. The whole crown is a pool of light!

Antique mine cut Diamonds were as sourced from nature and merely polished in order of not loosing weight so if any imperfection was present it would have left as is, Diamonds at the time were not graded, so the criteria is different. Don’t ask for GIA certification because these are antiques, Diamonds are rough in cut compared to the modern and each is unique for its own cut in respect as when found in nature.

Very good condition in spite of being an antique
