Here is a ring that I really love, extraordinary Victorian example beautifully hand crafted during 1870 ca of 18 KT gold – marked
Charming oval head sitting flat on finger, holding a centre Natural Jelly Opal held onto precise multi claws work complemented by a garland of antique old mine cut Diamonds
Opal has outstanding play of colours flashes, it is lively and fire for any colour getting through as you move it for being very deep in cut– estimate approx 1.90 Ct.
Diamonds are 15 in number for approx 1.20 Ct of old mine cut, rated as H/I VVS/SI
The whole crown measures 14 mm. x 13 mm.
It could be a fabulous engagement ring
