This beautiful Victorian period 1880 ca brooch pendant has been hand modelled in 18 KT solid gold
Lovely in design, set throughout with natural Opals and Diamonds
Body is made by a solitaire cushion old mine cut Diamond of 1.05 Ct. -F/G VS – 5.8 mm. x 5.6 mm – releasing lots of glowing sparkle thank to the size and quality of the main Diamond
The body is further embellished by Opal and Diamond with colour flashes as catching the light, same for the wings with attractive ethereal effect between the gemstones – her face has ruby eyes
Skilfully set little 2 rose cut on the antennas and 21 old mine cut Diamonds totalling approx 1.60 Ct (G-VVS/VS) – 3 oval cabochon cut natural Harlequin Opal of 9 x 5 mm.
Back allows wearing it either as brooch than as pendant – beautiful condition –measure: 25 mm. x 40 mm.
